Find Your Quiet in the Smokies

Tucked away on a quiet mountain road outside Robbinsville, North Carolina, our cabins offer something that's getting harder to find: real peace and quiet. Here, mornings start with birdsong and mist rising off the ridges, and evenings end under a sky full of stars, far from traffic and city noise.

Yet you're never far from adventure, with Fontana Lake and the Cheoah River just minutes away and the legendary Tail of the Dragon a short, winding ride from your door. Our signature stay is a true piece of mountain history, a cabin originally built in the early 1940s to house the workers who constructed Fontana Dam.

Choose from three distinct stays, from our historic cabin to a cozy, gear-friendly efficiency to our spacious premium retreat, and slow down for a while in one of the most peaceful corners of Western North Carolina.

Choose Your Mountain Getaway

The Premium Retreat is our most spacious option, with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, making it a great fit for small families or two couples traveling together. There's plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day on the lake, the trails, or the mountain roads.

The Historic Stay is a genuine 1940s cabin originally built to house the workers who constructed Fontana Dam during World War II. It features 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom and a half bathroom,  rustic heritage décor that honors its past, along with modern comforts like full kitchen and Wifi. It's ideal for couples and history lovers looking for something truly one of a kind.

The Basecamp Cabin (Coming Soon) is a renovated, budget-friendly stay designed as a simple, comfortable home base for paddlers, anglers, riders, and hikers, with room to stash your gear and get an early start.
